We are partnering with an established and respected family law practice seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join its Washington, DC team.

This opportunity is designed for an attorney who wants to take ownership of meaningful cases, build trusted client relationships, and continue developing their practice within an established legal environment.

You’ll handle a sophisticated family law caseload, work directly with clients, develop case strategy, negotiate resolutions, and advocate in court, all while supported by an experienced legal team and a hybrid schedule.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Manage family law matters from initial consultation through resolution
\n
• Handle divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, property division, and related matters
\n
• Develop strategic approaches tailored to each client's objectives
\n
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other legal documents
\n
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive legal arguments
\n
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, negotiations, and trials
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• J.D. from an accredited law school
\n
• Active DC Bar membership in good standing
\n
• Demonstrated experience practicing family law
\n
• Strong knowledge of DC family law and court procedures
\n

\n

\n

Salary & Compensation

\n

The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 – $180,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
