Position Title:

Behavioral Health Director

• Full-time: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
\n

Position Summary:

\n
• Administrative Management: Plan and manage department budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure alignment with public and private funding streams.
\n
• Clinical Oversight: Supervise clinical and treatment staff, review client records, and sign off on clinical documentation to maintain high standards of care.
\n
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to state and federal healthcare regulations, confidentiality laws (such as HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2), and grant requirements.
\n
• Staff Leadership: Handle hiring, performance evaluations, training coordination, and staff development plans.
\n
• Community Relations: Represent the organization and collaborate with external stakeholders, such as local courts, social services, and schools
\n

Minimum Requirements:

\n
• Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, or a related field.
\n
• Licensure: Active professional license such as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or equivalent clinical credential.
\n
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical and healthcare administration or supervisory experience.
\n
• Skills: Strong organizational leadership, budgeting techniques, regulatory knowledge, and communication skills.
