Job Description
Wilson Care and Rehab in Wilson, KS is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing and long-term care team. This position offers a competitive $18.00–$19.80 per hour based on experience, plus a $2.00 per hour CARES bonus for qualifying full-time employees and a $3.00 per hour weekend shift differential.

Additional earning opportunities: Qualifying full-time CNAs can earn a $2.00/hour CARES bonus, in addition to the base hourly rate and applicable weekend shift differential.
CNA ScheduleThis full-time CNA position follows a consistent 14-day rotating schedule:
Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Enjoy a predictable schedule with every other weekend as a 3-day weekend, no more than three consecutive workdays, and 7 days off every 14 days.
What You'll Do as a CNAAs a Certified Nursing Assistant in skilled nursing and long-term care, you will provide compassionate, hands-on resident care while working closely with residents, families, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Provide direct resident care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
Assist residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance
Take and accurately record vital signs, weights, intake and output, and other measurements as directed
Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nursing team
Provide compassionate and respectful care while maintaining resident dignity and privacy
Assist with restorative nursing programs and encourage resident independence
Assist residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Complete accurate documentation according to facility policies and procedures
Follow infection prevention and control procedures, HIPAA requirements, and facility safety policies
Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, CNAs, and other healthcare team members
Build positive relationships with residents through dependable, compassionate, and person-centered care
Support quality improvement initiatives and the overall goals of the nursing care team
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
Current CPR certification
Ability to provide compassionate, safe, and respectful resident care
Ability to assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Dependable and resident-focused approach to care
Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing and long-term care environment
Previous CNA experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, nursing home, rehabilitation, or post-acute care
Experience providing direct patient or resident care
Experience assisting older adults or medically complex residents
Experience with restorative care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
