Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Plainview Healthcare Center. As an LVN at our nursing home, you will provide high-quality care to our residents while working under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or physician. This is a full-time position, working nights from 6pm to 6am, with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to patients and monitor their response

• Provide basic nursing care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Record and report vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rate

• Assist with medical procedures, such as wound care, catheterization, and tracheostomy care

• Provide emotional support to patients and their families

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care

• Follow safety protocols to prevent the spread of infection and ensure a safe environment
