Location: Dallas, TX
Hire Type: Contract-to-Hire or Direct Hire

Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00a till 2:30p (Frequent Overtime Available, Including Weekends)
Compensation: Up to $23/hr (Based on Experience)

Overview:
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for inspecting PDU units and switchgear assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience performing visual inspections, using precision measurement tools, reading basic drawings, and documenting inspection findings. Candidates with military, mechanical, aerospace, Eaton, or ABB experience are highly encouraged to apply.

Job Duties:
• Perform visual inspections of PDU units, switchgear assemblies, and related components.
• Inspect products for defects, workmanship issues, and compliance with engineering drawings.
• Use measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Read and interpret basic drawings and blueprints; schematic reading experience is a strong plus.
• Document inspection results and accurately report quality findings.
• Enter inspection data and complete reports using Microsoft Office applications.
• Verify dimensional accuracy of manufactured components and assemblies.
• Communicate quality concerns to production and management teams.
• Assist with audits, quality documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications:
• Previous quality inspection, manufacturing, military, aerospace, mechanical, Eaton, or ABB experience preferred.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Schematic reading experience is strongly preferred.
• Basic electrical knowledge required; no electrical testing or repair experience necessary.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as needed. Typical workweeks average approximately 50 hours, with overtime opportunities up to 60 hours per week.
