We’re seeking a passionate and inspiring Director of Education to join our leadership team at The Goddard School in Reading, MA. WHAT YOU’LL DO - RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Lead curriculum implementation and development and ensure high-quality, developmentally appropriate educational practices. 
• Coach and support teachers through lesson planning, classroom practices, assessment, and professional development. 
• Drive collaboration and continuous improvement across the teaching teams. 
• Foster a supportive, engaging learning environment for children, teachers, and families. 
• Partner with Director of Operations and other leadership on staffing, scheduling, supervision, coverage, and day-to-day school operations. 

WHAT YOU BRING – QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Education (Required): Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. 
• ECE Leadership Experience (Required): Minimum 3 years as a Director in a licensed Childcare Center 
• Certification (Required): MA Director I or II Certification. 

 
Full-time, year-round | Monday–Friday | Shared opening/closing shifts 
  

Salary based on experience, education, and EEC certifications, plus annual bonus eligibility for EEC Director Qualified Candidates.
