Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dispatching, preferably within the trades industry, and possess exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule field technicians for daily assignments, considering factors such as location, skills required, and urgency of tasks.
• Coordinate with project managers to schedule larger projects, ensuring timely completion and efficient allocation of resources.
• Maintain constant communication with clients regarding job progress, delays, and scheduling changes.
• Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as needed throughout the day.
• Coordinate material runners for larger projects, ensuring timely delivery of necessary supplies.
• Schedule service calls for plumbers, electricians, heating technicians, and handymen, prioritizing based on urgency and customer needs.
• Proactively communicate with customers regarding any delays or openings in the daily schedule.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in dispatching, preferably within the trades industry.
• Strong familiarity with home repair services and terminology.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project managers and field technicians.
