PeopleShare is currently hiring Mechanical Assemblers for a growing manufacturing operation in the West Chester, PA area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand and power tools, and enjoy working in a hands-on production environment.
Assembler Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm OR 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Pay Rate: $20/hour
Assembler Job Description:
- Assemble mechanical components, parts, and equipment according to specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, drills, wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, and other assembly equipment.
- Read and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, diagrams, and basic blueprints.
- Install hardware, fasteners, brackets, and other mechanical components.
- Measure and inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Identify damaged, defective, or incorrect parts and report issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and make minor assembly adjustments when necessary.
- Maintain an organized inventory of parts, tools, and materials at the workstation.
Assembler Job Requirements:
- Previous mechanical assembly, manufacturing, production, automotive, maintenance, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
- Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of basic tools and equipment.
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read measurements and follow written assembly instructions.
