Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time
New London Rehab and Care | Waterford, CT
$33–$36/hour | Full-Time | Benefits Available
LTC Therapy Services is looking for a PTA to join the rehab department at New London Rehab and Care. You'll help residents build strength and practice everyday movements during short-term recovery or longer-term skilled nursing care.
What You'll Do
Deliver treatment outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist
Work with residents on walking, transfers, balance, and therapeutic exercises
Monitor activity tolerance and report changes in mobility to the PT
Coordinate with nursing to support safe movement throughout the day
Complete accurate treatment notes and communicate residents' progress
