Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts (7am-7pm), Monday to Friday, rotating weekends

Job Description

McKnight Place Assisted Living & Memory Care is a locally owned, luxury senior living community in St. Louis, part of The Gatesworth Communities campus and named a Best Assisted Living and Best Memory Care community for 2026 by U.S. News & World Report.

We're hiring a day shift Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care clinical team. You'll provide safe, accurate medication administration while building meaningful relationships with residents through compassionate, person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately per physician orders and Missouri state regulations

• Maintain accurate medication documentation and records

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene

• Assist with walking, transportation, and transfers, using gait belts when necessary

• Promote resident independence and dignity

• Partner with Charge Nurses and the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care

Requirements

• Valid, unencumbered Missouri Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification (L1MA certification is not accepted for this role)

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with staff, residents, and families

• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively

• Reliable transportation

Preferred

• 1+ year of CMT experience in an Assisted Living or Memory Care setting

Hours

• Part-time: 12-32 hours per week

• Full-time: 32-40 hours per week
