We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our per diem team at Plainview Healthcare Center in Plainview, Texas. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our residents and patients.

About the Role:

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, dressing wounds, and performing vital signs

• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members

• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing team

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality care to patients with a variety of medical and behavioral health conditions

• Perform basic medical procedures, including injections, wound care, and electrolyte testing

• Educate patients and families on disease management, medication administration, and self-care techniques

• Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans

• Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements:

• Current LVN licensure in the state of Texas

• Prior experience as an LVN in a healthcare setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
