is seeking to hire Maintenance & Repair Technicians to diagnose and repair dryer vent and fireplace systems at apartment and condominium communities throughout the Austin area.

Have experience in construction, remodeling, drywall, framing, roofing, HVAC, or general repairs? Your skills could be a great fit! Previous dryer vent or fireplace repair experience is not required.

We provide specialized training to experienced tradespeople who know how to use tools, troubleshoot problems, and take pride in quality work. You'll travel to customer properties in a company-provided vehicle, complete repairs, and help keep ventilation and fireplace systems operating safely.

Our technicians are paid flat rate based on completed jobs, with additional bonuses for quality workmanship. It's an opportunity to put your experience to work and be rewarded for jobs completed correctly.

WHAT WE OFFER:

• $55,000 - $70,000+ annual earning potential

 WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Repair and replace 4' dryer vent duct systems
• Install dryer vent caps and terminations
• Repair fireplace refractory panels and components
• Diagnose airflow, ventilation, and fireplace issues
• Work safely on rooftops and ladders (including 32' ladder)
• Work in attics, crawl spaces, and confined spaces
• Open sheetrock when necessary to access repairs
• Complete accurate service reports
• Provide professional, 'WOW'-level customer service
• Keep the company vehicle and job sites clean and organized

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Required Qualifications:

• Hands-on construction or remodeling experience — Background in residential construction, remodeling, drywall, framing, or general trades with ability to work inside existing structures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to safely carry and use a 32-foot ladder, work on rooftops and in attics/crawl spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently, and commitment to completing quality repairs
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and clean background record
• Reliable transportation to the daily company vehicle pickup location
• Verifiable professional references demonstrating a stable work history and reliability

 
Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience installing, repairing, rerouting, or modifying 4-inch dryer vent ductwork
• Experience inspecting and replacing dryer vent caps or correcting ventilation and airflow problems
• Fireplace repair experience, including venting, refractory panels, and related components
• 1+ year of air compressor experience
• Previous leadership or team coordination experience is a plus

 
You do not need previous dryer vent or fireplace repair experience to apply. If you have the required hands-on trade skills and are willing to learn, Asurety will provide specialized training.
