Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a short-term acute care hospital, requiring 1+ years of experience and ARRT(R)(CT) certification.
Details
- Short term acute care hospital setting with 178 staffed beds
- CT Tech unit supporting adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, and emergency department patients
- Night shift, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30, Sunday through Tuesday
- Required weekend coverage every Sunday
- No on-call requirement
- Must be willing to float within scope across the site and system to meet facility needs
- Uses Epic for charting and PACS and Toshiba equipment
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience as a CT Technologist
- ARRT(R)(CT) certification and BLS required
- WA State license required, or proof of application submitted at least 30 days prior with current issuing time of 35-60 business days (license required if applicable)
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Experience with image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
- Experience performing abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest/cardiac CT studies
- Experience with contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts
Additional Information
- Perform a wide range of CT exams including abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, musculoskeletal, chest, and cardiac studies
- Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and calcium scoring/coronary angiography
- Scrubs may be any solid color except camo, all black, burgundy, or dark green, with no prints
- Free parking provided
- Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of any facility within the health system
- Maximum of 7 days RTO per assignment, with no RTO during the first week of the assignment
- Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before returning as a travel clinician
- First-time travelers not specified for eligibility
