The Opportunity & What You'll DoThis is not a "get coffee and observe" internship.
As a Software Engineering Intern at Singlewire, you'll gain hands-on experience building, testing, and shipping real feature code alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative production environment.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Learning the languages, tools, and software development processes we use
- Joining one of our software development teams and understanding the part of the product that team maintains
- Iterating with our product team about changes to the customer experience
- Reviewing software documentation for changes you make
- Collaborating with our quality assurance testers to ensure your changes are production-ready
- Delivering code to production
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program (Computer Science, or related field preferred)
- Experience with Clojure, React, TypeScript, Java, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with core networking concepts and microservice architectures
