Resident Transportation Driver

Accela Post Acute Care is seeking a dependable and compassionate Per Diem Driver to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, values flexibility, and takes pride in providing safe and reliable transportation for our residents.

As a Driver, you will play an important role in helping residents get to medical appointments, personal appointments, and other approved destinations while providing courteous, respectful service along the way.

Shifts are 8am to 4pm

What You'll Do as Driver

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapy appointments, and other approved destinations.

• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.

• Provide friendly, professional, and compassionate service to residents and their families.

• Follow all facility transportation policies and applicable safety regulations.

• Complete required transportation documentation accurately.

• Maintain the vehicle in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.

• Perform basic vehicle safety checks and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.

• Coordinate transportation schedules with facility staff.

• Ensure residents are transported on time and returned safely to the facility.

• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license

• Previous professional driving or healthcare transportation experience preferred.

• Experience working with seniors or individuals with mobility limitations is a plus.

• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

• Patient, courteous, and comfortable interacting with residents.

• Ability to assist residents with mobility needs when appropriate.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
