IT Support Technician

WinChoice is seeking a dedicated Mid-Level IT Support Technician to serve as the frontline resource for technical assistance across the organization. This role is vital in ensuring smooth technology operations, supporting users, and contributing to ongoing IT improvements. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with excellent customer service skills to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide frontline technical support for hardware, software, and user-related technology issues across the organization
• Respond to and triage incoming IT support tickets, diagnosing and resolving common hardware and software problems
• Assist employees, field representatives, and technicians with technical questions and troubleshooting needs
• Perform basic user administration tasks on supported platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra
• Collaborate with the IT team on system maintenance, project implementation, and technology initiatives
• Document support issues, resolutions, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
• Support the IT department in other technical duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

 

Required Qualifications

• Intermediate knowledge of computer troubleshooting and technical support principles
• Proficiency with both Windows and Apple hardware and software environments
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues to non-technical users
• Customer service-oriented attitude with the ability to prioritize multiple support requests
• Ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in help desk or technical customer support roles
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical certification
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra platforms
• Basic networking troubleshooting skills
