Job Summary
X-ray Technologist, located in the healthcare facility, provides advanced imaging services including general x-ray, ortho, traumas, and portable imaging. This role supports inpatient, outpatient, emergency room, and operating room settings, with opportunities to gain experience in operating room procedures and specialized equipment such as O-arm.

Job Details

  • Position Description: This position involves performing general x-ray procedures, ortho, traumas, and portable imaging. Preferred experience includes operating room imaging and O-arm technology, though not required; OR experience can be utilized in emergency room procedures.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications including BLS, ARRT, and State license (KBMIRT); education requirements as applicable; minimum 1 year of experience; location in accordance with the healthcare facility; and valid certifications.
  • Schedule: Rotating shifts with either four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Support within the department includes front desk staff, lead technicians, phlebotomy, IV/VAT team, RT, hospitalists, and intensivists available 24/7. The department employs technology such as EMR systems (Cernero) and equipment including Shimadzu, Konica, Fuji, Carestream, GE, Phillips c-arms, and Medtronic O-arm. The position requires floating to the emergency room, operating room, and portable imaging throughout the hospital, with variable weekend rotation and inclusion in holiday rotation. Orientation consists of 3-4 shifts in the department. Scrub color designated as Ceil Blue, with free badge access parking.
