Duration: 3 months Contract to hire

Shift timings: M-F 9 - 6 with OT and Afterhours

Job Description

Candidate must have excellent customer service skills, outgoing personality, break fix repair skills on laptops, laser printers, and POS equipment. Experience using a hand drill and climbing ladders is a plus. Candidate must have reliable transportation to get around and drive to various customer sites to perform repair / replacement on various kinds of equipment: POS, laptops, desktops, commerical printers, cable repairs, smart hands work on network equipment. Different severity levels / response times required. 24/7 availability a must. Customer Service is a must, Large Printer experience is highly desirable.

• What will the primary day-to-day responsibilities entail for this person? • What are the TOP 2 required skills that candidates must have? Customer service skills / a few years of experience as an IT Field Technician. Laser printer repair experience is an advantage.
• What will the work schedule be for this position? M-F 9 - 6 with OT and Afterhours

• Will there be shift differentials? No
• How many overall years of experience should this person have? Minimum 3 yrs but willing to interview a candidate right out of tech school.
• Do they need any specific certifications or education? CompTia A+, Printer +, Network + nice to have but not necessary.
• If contract to hire what is the conversion rate? $24
• How many miles per day will the contractor be driving? Will vary based on the ticket volume, anywhere from none to 100, possibly more.
• What radius range in miles should candidates be located from the job location? To be centrally located to cut down on travel distances. A good location is Augusta, ME. Most job locations are within a 100 miles radius of Augusta.
