Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Odessa, TX
--We are seeking a motivated and dependable Maintenance Technician with a strong mechanical and electrical background to join our team.
--This individual will be responsible for maintaining production equipment, facility systems, and overall property infrastructure to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
-The ideal candidate is a true go-getter who takes initiative, stays productive without constant supervision, and is always willing to jump in when something needs attention.
--We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is solution-oriented, and understands the importance of minimizing downtime and keeping operations running smoothly.
--This position requires both indoor and outdoor work and the ability to work at elevated heights when necessary.
Essential Responsibilities
· Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
· Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electric motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and other industrial equipment.
· Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
· Perform electrical troubleshooting on motors, wiring, switches, and control systems.
· Conduct general facility maintenance, including repairs to gates, fencing, doors, lighting, and other property infrastructure.
· Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance, including bathrooms, toilets, sinks, water lines, valves, and related fixtures.
· Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations.
· Inspect equipment and facilities to identify and resolve potential issues before they become costly repairs.
· Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and complete maintenance documentation as required.
· Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
· Minimum 2 years of experience operating a forklift.
· Strong background in industrial, commercial, or facility maintenance.
· Experience troubleshooting and repairing electric motors and electrical systems.
· Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
· Experience repairing and maintaining bathrooms, sinks, toilets, water lines, and related plumbing fixtures.
· Ability to troubleshoot equipment failures and identify root causes of maintenance issues.
· Welding and fabrication experience preferred but not required.
· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
· Comfortable working at heights, including ladders, lifts, rooftops, and elevated platforms.
· Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
· Must be available to work occasional Saturdays and participate in an on-call rotation when required.
· Must be dependable, safety-minded, and possess a strong work ethic.
· Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials as needed.
