Mold Setter

WE ARE GROWING!
Boomerang Rubber, Inc. is expanding their Mold Shop Team . With adding new lines and growing production, we are seeking a Mold Setter to join our team. This position is for 3rd shift, 10pm-6:15am, Sunday through Thursday.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a passion for fabrication and manufacturing processes. This role involves working independently with various tools and machinery while adhering to company safety standards.

Duties

• Receive production work orders and prepare molds for production runs.
• Perform mold changes for Truck Mat presses.
• Make any necessary adjustments to ensure final product is within customer specifications.
• Control mold inventory
• Proper use of safety devices, such as lock-out, as required.
• Safely operate all machinery, tools, and equipment.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Experience operating press machines is a plus.
• Basic math skills are essential for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Sunday through Thursday 10pm - 6:15am

$23-$25/ hour, based on experience - plus an additional $2/hour shift differential
