Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator **($19-$21/HR)**

We are looking for a dependable and experienced Warehouse Order Puller / Warehouse Associate to join a busy industrial warehouse operation in Houston. This position is responsible for pulling and preparing customer orders, moving and organizing materials, loading and unloading trucks, and keeping inventory and work areas organized. The ideal candidate has stable warehouse work history, strong attendance, a good work ethic, and experience operating warehouse equipment in an industrial or outdoor environment.

What You’ll Do

• Pull, pick, stage, and prepare orders accurately for shipment.
• Locate materials throughout the warehouse and yard using inventory information and order paperwork.
• Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Move, organize, stack, and store materials in designated locations.
• Operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and/or order pickers as needed.
• Assist with receiving incoming materials and verifying quantities and product.
• Check materials for damage and report any issues to a supervisor.
• Maintain accurate product placement and help keep inventory organized.
• Follow shipping, receiving, and warehouse procedures.
• Keep work areas, racks, pallets, and staging areas clean and orderly.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Work safely around heavy materials, forklifts, trucks, and other industrial equipment.
• Assist other warehouse areas as needed and perform additional duties assigned by management.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2+ years of warehouse, material handling, shipping, receiving, or order pulling experience.
• Stable employment history and a demonstrated record of reliability.
• Previous forklift experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, or order pickers is a plus.
• Industrial warehouse, pipe, steel, fittings, flanges, construction materials, or similar experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to accurately pull and stage orders based on written or electronic instructions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse/yard environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate material counts.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Good attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are required.
• Must be safety-minded and willing to follow all PPE and workplace safety requirements.
• Must be willing to work as part of a team while also being able to work independently.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
