THE POSITION

Operate a 48' or 53' tractor-trailer

Delivering automotive parts to established dealerships.

All DDS routes are unattended overnight routes, Monday through Friday, with assigned start times and required delivery windows.

ROUTE AREA — ROMULUS, MI & LOCAL SURROUNDING AREA

Routes and compensation vary by assignment.

PAY & BONUS WEEKLY PAY

Paper Check: Monday
Direct Deposit: Tuesday

$50 WEEKLY BONUS OPPORTUNITY

Opportunity to earn a $50 weekly bonus for completing assigned duties, calling dispatch when the route is complete, and meeting applicable bonus criteria.

DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate a 48' or 53' tractor-trailer with liftgate
• Load and unload automotive parts and freight
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
• Meet required dealership delivery times
• Safely operate pallet jacks and equipment
• Complete vehicle inspections and safety checks
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork
• Use GPS, dispatch, and scanning technology
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delays or issues
• Provide professional customer service
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle

QUALIFICATIONS

• MUST BE AT LEAST 26 YEARS OF AGE
• Valid driver's license
• Minimum 18 months tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 3 years
• Delivery or route-driving experience preferred
• Clean driving record
• No DUI or reckless-driving violations
• Able to lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly
• Able to pass AGL's Physical Ability Test (PAT)
• DOT medical card or ability to obtain one before hire
• Able to pass required pre-employment drug test and physical
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Comfortable working independently overnight
