About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Director of Supply Chain & Logistics to provide strategic and operational leadership across the organization's supply chain network. This position will oversee critical functions including logistics, inventory, transportation, distribution, supplier performance, and supply-chain planning.
The Director will be responsible for developing strategies that improve efficiency, control costs, strengthen supplier and carrier performance, and ensure products and materials move effectively throughout the organization. This individual will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional departments to align supply-chain capabilities with broader business objectives.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader who understands both the strategic and hands-on sides of supply-chain management. This is an opportunity for an experienced professional to evaluate existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and build scalable systems capable of supporting continued organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead supply chain, logistics, inventory, warehousing, and distribution strategy.
- Develop initiatives to improve delivery performance, inventory accuracy, and operating costs.
- Establish and monitor KPIs across supply chain functions.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers, carriers, vendors, and service providers.
- Identify supply chain risks and implement contingency and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with operations, finance, procurement, sales, and other departments.
- Evaluate technology and systems that improve supply chain visibility and efficiency.
- Lead continuous-improvement initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or related field.
- 8–12+ years of progressive supply chain or logistics experience.
- 5+ years in a leadership capacity preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, transportation, distribution, and supplier management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex operations and improve performance.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.
