Job Description
The Punchout Foreman supervises punchout and finishing activities, coordinating crew and subcontractors to resolve deficiencies and support timely project completion. Reporting to the Superintendent and Construction Manager, this role tracks materials, completes all punchout work, maintains completion documentation through shared spreadsheets and paper checklists, provides progress updates, and upholds safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise punchout crew and coordinate daily finishing activities.
- Schedule punchout work and monitor completion progress.
- Identify and resolve construction deficiencies.
- Track materials required for punchout and finishing work.
- Prepare and submit progress reports.
- Maintain punchout completion records using shared spreadsheets and paper checklists.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to support timely deficiency resolution.
- Ensure compliance with construction safety requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in construction punchout and finishing.
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification.
- Knowledge of residential construction and construction quality control.
- Blueprint-reading skills.
- Construction scheduling experience.
- Experience with subcontractor coordination and building inspection.
- Leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
