Visual/Retail Merchandiser - Armstrong Garden Centers
Armstrong Garden Centers is seeking a creative and customer-focused Retail Merchandiser to bring our garden center to life through engaging displays and inspiring merchandising. In this role, you'll create focal displays, maintain seasonal merchandising standards, implement promotional plans, manage signage, and help optimize store layout and customer traffic flow.
What You'll Do:
- Create and maintain eye-catching displays and display gardens
- Implement merchandising standards and promotional calendars
- Order and maintain store signage
- Analyze store layout and recommend improvements
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist with register functions and carry-outs
- Support daily garden center operations
What We're Looking For:
- Outgoing, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
- Previous experience in retail merchandising (2+years)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Interest in plants, gardening, and visual presentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in varying conditions
- Weekend availability required
