Pay: $21.00/hr

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM

About the Role

A client of ours in Sterling, VA is hiring an Evening Commercial Cleaner for a contract assignment. You will keep high traffic areas clean and stocked during the evening shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean high traffic areas as assigned by your supervisor
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum hallways, restrooms, elevators, and storage areas
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
• Restock restrooms with paper products and soap
• Follow safe procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment
• Keep cleaning supplies stored securely

Requirements

• 2 years of commercial cleaning, custodial, or facilities experience
• HS diploma or equivalent
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status (green card) required, must be shown on first day
• Steel toe shoes required, must be worn on first day
• Able to work Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM
• Able to stand, stoop, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation to Sterling, VA
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and physical

Preferred

• Experience with floor buffers, vacuums, or other power cleaning equipment
• Comfortable working independently with limited supervision
