WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our warehouse. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, while managing a team of warehouse associates. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of inventory and goods within the warehouse.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy in stock counts.
• Oversee the receiving and dispatching of goods, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring the warehouse is compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Manage the preparation of goods for shipment, ensuring they are properly packaged and labeled.
• Perform regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization, optimizing space and workflow.
• Handle and resolve any issues or concerns related to warehouse operations, including damaged goods, delays, and missing items.
• Collaborate with other departments (such as shipping, purchasing, and customer service) to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.
• Assist in the development and implementation of warehouse policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in warehouse management or logistics is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift heavy items and operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) safely.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Working Conditions:

• The role may require standing, walking, and lifting heavy items for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Pay rate: $28/hour
