Pay Rate: $16.00–$17.00/hour – Determined based on experience (Paid Weekly)
Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Work Model: Fully Onsite
Classification: Non-Exempt; hours worked over 40 are paid at time and a half

Role Overview

BEPC is seeking an Environmental Cleaning Specialist to support our customer’s production facility in Sturgis, MI. This hands-on position is responsible for performing industrial cleaning of production areas to help maintain a clean and orderly manufacturing environment.

The role may involve preparing and mixing chemical solutions or solvents used to clean designated work areas. Candidates should be comfortable working in an industrial production environment and following established cleaning and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform industrial cleaning of designated production and manufacturing areas.
• Clean work areas according to established procedures and facility requirements.
• Prepare and mix chemical cleaning solutions or solvents as required for assigned cleaning activities.
• Properly use cleaning chemicals, solutions, and equipment according to established procedures.
• Follow applicable safety practices when handling cleaning chemicals and solvents.
• Maintain clean and orderly production areas.
• Complete assigned cleaning activities thoroughly and consistently.
• Follow established work instructions and site procedures.
• Communicate cleaning or safety concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Support the overall cleanliness and operational readiness of production areas.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to perform hands-on industrial cleaning duties within a production environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal cleaning and safety instructions.
• Ability to safely work with cleaning chemicals, solutions, and solvents as required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining clean work areas.
• Dependable attendance and ability to complete assigned tasks consistently.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Sturgis, MI.
• Ability to work the assigned 7:00 AM–7:00 PM shift.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous industrial, manufacturing, production, sanitation, or facility cleaning experience.
• Previous experience handling or mixing cleaning chemicals or solvents.
• Familiarity with industrial safety and cleaning procedures.
  

Work Environment

This position is performed onsite within a production environment and involves industrial cleaning activities. Team members may work with chemical cleaning solutions and solvents and are expected to follow all applicable procedures and safety requirements.

This is a non-exempt position, and hours worked over 40 will be paid at time and a half.
