About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished and growth-oriented Vice President of Sales to lead the organization's sales strategy, revenue performance, market expansion, and sales-team development. As a member of senior leadership, this individual will be responsible for creating the strategy, processes, and accountability necessary to build a scalable, high-performing sales organization.
The Vice President of Sales will oversee forecasting, pipeline management, sales leadership, key-account strategy, performance metrics, and new revenue initiatives. This executive will work closely with business development, operations, finance, marketing, and senior leadership to ensure sales objectives align with the organization's broader growth strategy.
We are seeking a leader who understands how to both develop strategy and drive execution. The successful candidate will have a strong record of building teams, developing sales leaders, improving conversion and pipeline performance, and consistently delivering against ambitious revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and revenue-growth strategies.
- Establish annual sales targets, forecasts, territories, and performance metrics.
- Recruit, lead, coach, and develop sales leaders and professionals.
- Build scalable sales processes and performance-management systems.
- Manage relationships with key accounts and executive-level customers.
- Partner with marketing, operations, finance, and executive leadership.
- Analyze pipeline activity, conversion rates, market trends, and sales performance.
- Identify new markets, channels, and revenue opportunities.
- Participate in strategic negotiations and major client presentations.
- Provide accurate forecasting and sales-performance reporting to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience with substantial leadership responsibility.
- Demonstrated success leading teams and achieving significant revenue-growth objectives.
- Strong knowledge of sales forecasting, pipeline management, KPIs, and performance management.
- Experience developing high-performing sales organizations.
- Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
