Job Summary
CT Technologist in a healthcare setting. This role involves performing general radiology and computed tomography (CT) procedures independently in an acute care environment. The position requires a commitment to patient care and adherence to facility protocols.
Job Details
- Position Description: The technologist will perform general radiology and CT procedures, including handling trauma cases, completing paperwork, and conducting morning quality assurance (QA).
- Required Qualifications: ARRT license required. Registered in Radiography (R) CT (CT) is preferred but not mandatory if the technologist has extensive CT experience. Minimum 3 years of X-ray experience and 2 years of CT experience. BLS certification. Minimum 0 years of experience.
- Schedule: Monday-Wednesday night shifts (three 13-hour shifts) from 5:30 pm to 7:00 am, with rotating Thursday night and weekend call approximately once a month.
- Additional Information: Technologist will be oriented to protocols, equipment, and computer systems. Must badge in and out at the facility and wear gray scrubs. Ability to handle trauma cases.
- Certifications/Licenses: ARRT license required; registration in (R)(CT) preferred.
