Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 1+ years of General IR experience to join a tertiary hospital's cardiac interventional radiology team.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within a tertiary hospital
- Daily caseload of 4 per technologist
- 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- On-call rotation shared between three technologists
- Weekend requirement of every third weekend
- No floating required between units or sister facilities
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an IR Tech
- General IR case experience required; Neuro IR experience preferred
- Current BLS, ARRT (R), and SCQRSA certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Must provide own radiation badge, as the facility does not supply one to travelers
- Social Security number required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include isolation precautions/PPE, infection control, and sterile technique
- Lead tech experience is a plus
- OR scrubs provided by the facility
- Block scheduling may be accommodated pending manager approval based on unit needs
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Previous MUSC staff (including PRN) must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application and is subject to facility approval
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered
- During hurricane season (June-November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties
