Interventional Radiology Technologist Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. This position will require flexibility and a strong commitment to quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule- Shift: 5x8s (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
- Daily caseload per technologist: 4 procedures
- On-call requirement: Yes, with rotation among two other technologists
- Weekend requirement: Yes, every third weekend
- Assist in performing various Interventional Radiology procedures.
- Ensure proper patient care and safety, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic charting system.
- Collaborate with medical staff to optimize patient outcomes and procedural efficiency.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
- Experience with general Interventional Radiology cases is required.
- Experience with Neuro Interventional Radiology cases is preferred.
- Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), SCQRSA.
- Radiation badge is required, to be provided by the agency.
- Local radius for candidates: 60 miles (locals are not accepted).
- Request Time Off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission; approval is subject to facility needs.
- Guaranteed hours: The facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks.
During hurricane season (June to November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams. Travelers should take this into account when confirming assignments during this period.
Scrubs and Parking- Scrub color: OR scrubs are provided by the facility.
