As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you'll support students' communication development and academic success through assessment, intervention, collaboration, and consultation. You'll work closely with students, families, teachers, and support staff to help students build the speech, language, and communication skills they need to thrive in the educational setting.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to support student success

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning

  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

  • Support students in developing communication skills for academic and social growth

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist licensure

  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathology endorsement preferred or eligible to obtain

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

  • Previous school-based experience preferred

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
