Job Description
Title: Schedule Planner II - Material Planning and Control // Production Scheduler
Location: Davenport, IA - 52809
Duration: 12 Months Contract (possible extension)
3rd Shift: 10 PM – 6 AM
Notes:
- $1,000 attendance bonus after 90 days.
- Candidates must be willing to support alternate shifts based on business needs.
- Metatarsal safety boots are required on their first day
- The manager is looking for a 3rd Shift Production Scheduler to be onsite in Davenport, IA.
- This position will be responsible for scheduling support in the laser cutting and forming operations.
- The manager would strongly prefer candidates with a 4-year degree in a relevant field with 1+ years of scheduling experience however consideration will be given to candidates with a minimum of a high school diploma/equivalent with 5+ years of scheduling experience in a production environment.
- Must be proficient with MS Office and be an intermediate user of Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.).
- SAP experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong data analytics skills are needed to be successful.
- Must be willing to work out on the floor approximately 50% of the time or more, but the rest of the time will be in an office environment.
- This individual will be sitting with others who support the Fabrication operations - Supervisors, Engineers and other Schedulers.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
- Must be willing to work in a team environment.
- This person would be expected to work independently on a daily basis with very little work direction.
- This is an 8-Hour, 3rd Shift position (10pm – 6am).
- Occasional Saturday OT will be required.
- Candidates must be willing to support alternate shifts based on business needs.
