WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As our Senior HVAC Service Technician – Warranty & Troubleshooting, you'll be the go-to technical expert for diagnosing and resolving challenging residential HVAC issues.

You'll work closely with our Warranty, Installation, Service, and Quality Control teams to ensure systems operate properly and customer concerns are resolved.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and repair residential air conditioning and heating systems
• Handle complex HVAC service calls, warranty repairs, and troubleshooting
• Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, refrigerant, and airflow issues
• Troubleshoot split systems, heat pumps, gas furnaces, air handlers, and other residential HVAC equipment
• Diagnose installation-related performance issues and identify corrective solutions
• Perform system testing, including refrigerant charge, airflow, static pressure, and temperature measurements
• Resolve recurring HVAC issues and help reduce unnecessary callbacks
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to other HVAC technicians
• Work alongside installation and quality control teams to improve system performance
• Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly to homeowners
• Complete accurate service notes, repair documentation, and warranty paperwork
• Follow manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and company procedures

⭐ DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

We're looking for an experienced HVAC professional who knows how to troubleshoot beyond simply replacing parts.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• 5+ years of residential HVAC service and repair experience preferred
• Strong hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing residential heating and cooling systems
• Advanced troubleshooting skills involving electrical components, refrigerant circuits, airflow, and system performance
• Experience working with heat pumps, gas furnaces, split systems, and air conditioning equipment
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot using diagnostic tools
• Experience identifying installation-related issues and warranty concerns
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to document repairs and communicate findings clearly
• Previous Lead Technician, Senior Technician, or mentoring experience is a plus

IMPORTANT: You don't have to currently hold a Warranty Technician title! If you're an experienced residential HVAC Service Technician with strong diagnostic skills, we encourage you to apply.

✅ REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS & QUALIFICATIONS

• EPA Universal Certification – Required
• Current Texas TDLR Registration – Required
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Ability to pass required background screening
• Ability to safely perform the physical demands of HVAC service work
• Availability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
