My client is a stable, growing design and building company where your craftsmanship directly impacts the landscape of the Chicago NW suburbs through diverse and unique projects. They are looking for a hardworking, skilled carpenter. This role offers the chance to move beyond daily labor into a long-term career path with a company that has never had a layoff. Essential Duties:  

• Interpret detailed project specifications and architectural plans to ensure precise construction layouts. 
• Execute the assembly of pre-engineered steel buildings and install both steel and wood framing. 
• Operate specialized machinery including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and telehandlers to maintain project momentum. 
• Coordinate jobsite logistics by managing material movement and tool organization for maximum efficiency. 
• Maintain a rigorous safety culture by identifying hazards and consistently utilizing proper PPE. 
• Collaborate with field operations to resolve technical challenges and meet strict project deadlines. 
• Mentor junior team members while demonstrating a strong work ethic and a positive attitude toward site challenges. 

Requirements:  

• Minimum of 3 years of experience within the commercial construction trade. 
• Proven proficiency in using a wide range of carpentry tools and heavy equipment. 
• Demonstrated ability to work at heights using ladders and various mechanical lifts. 
• Valid OSHA 10-hour certification card. 
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems on-site. 
• Must be able to travel to Belvedere, IL.
