Supplier Quality Documentation Reviewer

Important Contract Information

Job Summary

Client is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer – PPAP/FAI to support the Advanced Supplier Quality Engineering (ASQE) team.

The selected candidate will review supplier quality documentation and submission packages, including PPAP, FAI, and customer-specific requirements, to ensure all required documentation meets program, engineering, and purchasing requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with automotive manufacturing experience and knowledge of supplier quality, PPAP, FAI, engineering drawings, GD&T, and quality management systems.

The candidate will receive training and support from experienced ASQE team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Review supplier PPAP, FAI, and customer-specific submission packages.
• Verify documentation against program, engineering, and purchase order requirements.
• Identify missing, incomplete, or nonconforming documentation.
• Follow up with suppliers and internal ASQE team members to obtain required corrections.
• Coordinate technical questions and issues with ASQEs and Engineering.
• Upload approved documentation into applicable systems.
• Maintain accurate submission tracking logs and status updates.
• Support timely supplier approvals and part releases to meet program build schedules.
• Perform additional supplier quality and documentation-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing quality experience.
• Recent quality experience in automotive manufacturing or a similar industry.
• Quality experience beyond basic inspection activities.
• Experience reviewing or working with PPAP and/or FAI documentation.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to evaluate dimensional results and material certifications.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Basic understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
