Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of cardiac cath lab experience and RT(R) or RCIS certification.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 2 procedure rooms and 5 holding beds
- 1:1 patient ratios
- Standard Cath Lab/IR equipment used
- Documentation via Meditech/Mac Lab
- Procedures performed include cardiac catheterizations, device implants, vascular procedures, IR procedures, and special procedures
- Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM schedule
- Weekday and weekend on-call required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year full-time Cardiac Cath Lab Tech experience required; 2 years preferred
- RT(R) or RCIS certification required, license required if applicable
- Current ACLS and BLS certification required
- Skilled in scrubbing and monitoring cases
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Duties include scrubbing and monitoring cardiac, vascular, and IR procedure cases
- Ceil blue scrub dress code required
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
