Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a school-based Home Health position in Redding, CA, serving pediatric clients and welcoming new graduates.
Details
- School-based occupational therapy serving pediatric and school-aged clients
- Therapist travels to multiple school sites across Trinity and Shasta counties, based out of Redding office
- Day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
- Responsibilities include schedule planning, evaluation, and treatment program design and implementation
- Mileage and travel time reimbursed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- California Occupational Therapy license required (pending license accepted)
- License required if applicable
- Valid Driver's License required
- BLS certification required, NBCOT preferred
- New graduates accepted, no minimum experience required
- Pediatric experience required
- Experience with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Handwriting, Sensory Diet Programs, and Sensory Integrative Testing/Treatment preferred
Additional Information
- Full school year assignment preferred, with potential start as soon as possible through end of May 2027
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Time off requests must be finalized prior to submission
- Work in-person across designated school sites in Shasta and Trinity counties
