DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This role focuses on operating heavy equipment and completing manual tasks that support the upkeep of the Moshannon State Forest. As an Equipment Operator B, you will perform the following duties:

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours will be between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday - Thursday. Specifics about work schedules, including the possibility of an alternate work schedule, will be discussed during the interview.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year of experience as an Equipment Operator A (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Two years of experience in the operation of heavy construction and specialized maintenance equipment used at this level with a gross vehicle weight of 32,001 pounds or more: or
• Any equivalent combination of experience or training.

Special Requirements:

• This position requires possession of a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license.

Condition of Employment:

• This position requires possession of a Class A commercial driver's license (CDL).
