Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate: $25 - 45/hr + 7% shift differential

Location: 5485 County Road V Sheboygan Falls WI USA WI-53085

Shift Information: 2nd shift Hours: Monday - Friday 3p - 11:30 pm with 30 minute lunch break.

Shift Information: 3rd shift Hours: Sunday - Thursday 11:00 pm - 7:30 am with 30 minute

Rotational weekend coverage

Address: 5485 County Road V, Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085 (Local candidates preferred)

Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. Some apprenticeships, associate degrees, or Journeyman cards are preferred.

Physical PPE Requirements: PPE boot allowance, uniforms, standard goggles, and hard hat are all provided.

Equipment: Standard equipment provided as needed.

Software & Technical Skills: CMS system experience required; PLC knowledge is a plus.

Role related to the design, production and maintenance of structures, systems and components in Merck production plants and facilities. Develops and applies engineering standards and procedures and provides advice on issues, including problem solving and the assessment of new technologies. Performs maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems. Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield. Performs equipment failure analyses. Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems with equipment.

IMPACT: Impacts the effectiveness of own work team through quality of services or information provided; typically acts as an informal resource for less experienced colleagues.

COMPLEXITY: Identifies key issues and patterns and spots new, less obvious solutions.


ACCOUNTABILITY/ INDEPENDENCE: Accountable for quality of own work; provides solutions to problems based on practice, existing precedents or procedures; uses discretion to modify work practices and processes to achieve results or improve efficiency. Completes work with a limited degree of supervision.


EXPERIENCE: 2 - 3+ years

ORGANIZATION: Typically reports to a Manager role or Project Manager role (for a defined period of time) based on organizational set-up, may have a lead person for day-to-day guidance.
