Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Peoria, Illinois

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks an experienced Staff Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care on select days in October. The role involves dispensing medications, managing prescriptions, and collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes. Schedule:

• Days: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Dates: October 12, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22
• Monday through Friday shifts

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications in compliance with regulations
• Verify and process prescriptions using the Epic Willow system
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage and potential side effects
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal drug therapy
• Maintain accurate records and documentation consistent with pharmacy standards

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in Illinois
• Previous retail pharmacy experience required
• Proficient in order entry and pharmacy management systems, preferably Epic Willow
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
