Physical Therapist - School Setting in Upper Darby, PA

This full-time contract position offers the chance to work closely with a small, dedicated caseload, focusing on students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disabilities (ID) in an urban educational setting. Desired Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapy license and certification in Pennsylvania
• Proven experience within school-based settings
• Ability to work onsite and commitment to a full-time schedule (35 hours per week)
• Willingness to obtain required Pennsylvania clearances
• Comfort working in urban educational environments and small, focused caseloads
• Experience supporting K-12 students, especially those with ASD and ID
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group-based physical therapy services to K-12 students
• Evaluate students’ functional abilities, create treatment goals, and monitor progress
• Work closely with teachers and staff to promote inclusion and student engagement
• Document services and maintain compliance with all state and federal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
• Support safe mobility and accessibility throughout the school campus

This role offers a structured environment with minimal incidental classroom coverage, so your time is focused on therapy and collaboration. You’ll begin as soon as possible and partner with the school through June 10, 2027. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom for your convenience.
