Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist - Montague, CA

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail pharmacy in need of an experienced pharmacist is seeking qualified candidates for a short-term, per diem assignment from October 26 through October 30. This opportunity requires an individual adept at managing a high-volume retail pharmacy setting, processing between 400 to 500 prescriptions daily, and comfortable working with PioneerRx software.

Location: Montague, CA
Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients on prescriptions
• Manage high prescription volumes efficiently while maintaining quality and compliance
• Utilize PioneerRx pharmacy software for prescription processing and inventory management
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacist License
• Recent retail pharmacy experience, especially in high-volume environments
• Proficiency with pharmacy management software, preferably PioneerRx
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a pharmacy team
