Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA (Hybrid)
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00/hour
Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

We are seeking a Hybrid Customer Service Representative for a leading commercial insurance organization in Wilkes-Barre, PA. In this role, you will support customers, policyholders, and business partners by handling incoming inquiries and delivering exceptional customer service.

Schedule

Monday-Friday

Available Shifts:

• • 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM
  • 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Responsibilities

• • Answer inbound and outbound customer calls
  • Resolve customer concerns and inquiries
  • Escalate issues to appropriate departments when necessary
  • Document customer interactions accurately
  • Utilize internal systems and resources to support customers
  • Focus on first-contact resolution and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• • 1+ year of customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a metric-driven environment
  • Strong listening and empathy skills
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Accurate documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• • Previous call center experience
  • Bilingual skills
  • Insurance industry experience

Compensation: $20/hr - $23/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
