Credit Analyst

We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join an on-site team in Richmond, Virginia. This position focuses on evaluating credit requests from business customers and supporting sound lending decisions through careful financial review. The role is well suited for someone with experience in accounts receivable, commercial credit, or collections who can balance risk assessment with customer service.

Responsibilities:
• Review and assess credit applications submitted by business clients to determine appropriate approval recommendations
• Analyze customer financial information, payment history, and relevant risk factors to support informed credit decisions
• Work closely with internal partners to gather documentation, clarify account details, and resolve application issues
• Monitor existing accounts for credit exposure and identify situations that may require updated review or follow-up action
• Support commercial collections activities by evaluating delinquent accounts and recommending next steps
• Maintain accurate records of credit evaluations, account actions, and supporting documentation in company systems
• Communicate credit decisions and related requirements clearly and professionally to stakeholders
• Contribute to process consistency by following established credit policies, procedures, and internal controls• Experience in credit analysis, accounts receivable, or commercial collections
• Working knowledge of business credit applications and commercial account review practices
• Ability to assess financial information and identify credit risk indicators
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in a business setting
• Proficiency with systems and tools used for credit documentation, tracking, and account review
• Ability to work on site in Richmond, Virginia
