Job Description
Seeking DAS Installation Technicians to support wireless infrastructure projects throughout Virginia. Work will involve the installation, maintenance, and testing of in-building wireless systems across government, education, transportation, healthcare, and commercial environments.
Responsibilities- Install and support Distributed Antenna System (DAS) infrastructure and related wireless communications systems.
- Perform low-voltage coaxial cable installation, routing, dressing, labeling, and terminations.
- Complete rack-and-stack activities for telecommunications equipment.
- Pull, test, and terminate coaxial and fiber optic cabling.
- Assist with troubleshooting and testing of wireless and DAS systems.
- Work as part of a 2-4 person installation team under the direction of a lead technician.
- Support projects in commercial, healthcare, transportation, public safety, and government facilities.
- Travel as needed throughout Virginia, with occasional travel to neighboring markets.
- 2+ years of experience installing telecommunications or low-voltage cabling systems.
- Experience with coaxial cable, fiber optic cable, and low-voltage infrastructure.
- Knowledge of rack-and-stack procedures, cable terminations, cable management, and testing.
- Ability to read and follow installation drawings and project requirements.
- Comfortable working on ladders and in active construction or operational environments.
- Previous DAS installation experience.
- Experience with DAS testing and troubleshooting, including sweep and PIM testing.
- Fiber optic experience, including pulling, terminating, testing, and splicing.
- Familiarity with in-building wireless systems and distributed antenna infrastructure.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.

- Problem-solving ability.
- Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Monday through Friday schedule, typically between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, depending on project requirements.
- Work performed in small installation crews.
- Projects are primarily located throughout Virginia.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required, with employees typically returning home on weekends.
- Support a growing portfolio of in-building wireless projects involving wireless access point infrastructure and DAS deployments.
- Opportunity to work on long-term telecommunications projects across multiple industries, including transportation, healthcare, education, public safety, and government sectors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
