School-Based Physical Therapist - West Chester, Pennsylvania

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving K-12 students in a dynamic, urban school setting near West Chester, PA. This full-time, onsite role spans 35 hours per week and offers the chance to make a measurable difference for students with ASD and ID within a supportive environment and a small, focused caseload. You’ll be working closely with a collaborative team through the end of the school year, with a start as soon as possible and the assignment concluding on June 10, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current and active license/certification to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Pennsylvania
• Previous experience providing physical therapy in K-12 school settings
• Comfort working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disabilities (ID)
• Familiarity with school-based service delivery models, including low-incidental classroom environments
• Experience or strong willingness to serve in an urban educational environment
• Ability and willingness to obtain up-to-date PA clearances prior to the start date
• Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview as part of the selection process
• Commitment to sending requisite licensure documentation as part of the interview process

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver onsite physical therapy services tailored to K-12 students’ needs within a small, manageable caseload
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement individualized therapy goals
• Maintain comprehensive and compliant documentation of student progress
• Support student participation and access to their educational programming
