Special Education Teacher | Upper Darby, Pennsylvania

Step into a dynamic elementary environment supporting K-2 learners as a Special Education Teacher on a full-time contract assignment. Two onsite positions are available, starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 10, 2027. As a valued educator, you’ll be integral to helping young students thrive academically and socially within a supportive urban setting.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Pennsylvania teaching certification/licensure to match caseload
• Bachelor’s degree (essential for those seeking an emergency teaching permit)
• Previous school-based experience
• Background working in an urban educational environment
• Mastery of related subject matter with strong instructional and resource competence
• Confident classroom and behavioral management abilities
• Capable of crafting effective, standards-aligned lesson plans utilizing differentiation and formative assessment
• Comfortable with district requirements and location specifics
• Ability to complete all required PA clearances
• Reliable transportation
• Availability for a consistent full-time schedule, 8:30AM–4:00PM (no adjustments to these hours)
