Overview:
We’re looking for dependable, detail-oriented Package Handlers to join a fast-paced warehouse team. In this role, you’ll sort and process mail and packages, check labels for accuracy, and help keep daily operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Sort mail and packages accurately and efficiently.
- Scan labels and verify that labels and ZIP codes match.
- Load packages onto conveyors and operate sorting equipment.
- Meet daily processing goals while maintaining quality.
- Keep your workstation clean and organized.
- Assist in different operational areas as needed.
Skills and Experience:
Qualifications
- Ability to follow veral instructions.
- Basic counting, addition, and subtraction skills.
- Ability to sort alphabetically and numerically.
- Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a steady pace in a busy warehouse.
- High school diploma, equivalent training, or related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Walk, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds; heavier items may require assistance.
- Reach, squat, bend, and kneel throughout much of the shift.
- Climb stairs or a step ladder and move mail using a pallet jack.
- Work around changing temperatures, moderate noise, dust, and dirt.
